Happy Birthday Aiden!

This year, Aiden turned 7! It's crazy to think that Trevor and I are old enough to be the parents of a 7 year old... But, alas, we are! As usual, Aiden came up with something somewhat random for his birthday party theme. This year he wanted a "Mario Party". You would think this would be easy enough, right? NO!!! I had to order figurines for the cake online and went to multiple party supply stores in search of "Mario" stuff. In the end, I had to make most of the stuff on my own. Which just adds to my "I'm throwing a birthday party for my son and therefore must make a ridiculous cake that I will curse the entire time I'm making it" stress and grumpiness.

Aiden said that he wants to do his birthday parties in a pattern:

All boys, girls and boys, all girls, etc.

I informed him that the "all girls" part wasn't going to fly.
