Utah! Aunt Christie! Henry! BYU!

For Spring Break, I decided to brave the 9.5 hour drive on my own and take Aiden and Max to visit my sister in Utah. The morning I left started great! I headed out to the car ON TIME and the boys were happy. I started the car and went to put a DVD on for the boys... that's when everything went horribly wrong. The cord that plugged the DVD player into the cigarette lighter was broken. No biggie, I'll just go to Wal Mart and buy a new one. I did. It didn't work. It wouldn't even turn on. That's when I lost my cool and started to cry. I was so prepared! Why me!? Arghhh! Then I drove to Tiffany's house and came storming in asking for a DVD player plug. She couldn't find one so I headed across the street to Luella's house... 2 cords later, I realized that it was the cigarette lighter that was broken. Poor Tiffany came running across the street to save me with her DVD plug... but it was no use, it wouldn't work in my gimpy cigarette lighter! I was on the verge of hysteria and Tiffany could tell as I drove away. Needless to say, my children are amazing! They were sooo good. I drove all the way to Provo with no DVD player to keep them occupied and they hardly complained at all. What a blessing! We arrived safely and were able to spend the week with Aunt Christie, Uncle Danny, & Henry. I'm sure they were relieved when we left and their home was, once again, quiet! :) Thanks for having us!
Mmmmm... Oatmeal!

Henry's "Retro Rocket" was a big hit with Aiden & Max! They played on that thing for hours!!

Max with his BYU hat...
This is a rare shot of Max NOT making his horrid, crazy, smiling face... savor the moment, it will not last.

Aiden and his BYU hat.
He was soo excited to see "BYU"... except he was confused when we went to the bookstore and I told him we were in BYU... I think he thinks BYU is just the football team, Daddy has him brainwashed.

Max, Henry, & Aiden after our crazy trip to campus.
See, I told you the nice smile face wouldn't last long, the horrid, crazy, smiling face strikes again!
